听到Azure Ray很偶然，是在一个朋友开的校内广播里。只有一首，就是这首Safe and Sound，甚至当时这首歌的歌名也被标错了。而后，像被迷了魂似的全世界寻她们的专辑。大概这就是迷幻摇滚的要得效果吧。好在有一批得道老鸟，把她们的专辑宝贝一样地藏着。

Azure Ray很小众，即使在美国摇滚界，她们也是默默无闻。可能迷幻摇滚实在是太小众的东西，而她们又是迷幻摇滚的小众。于是连网上找她们的资料也变得非常辛苦。“maria taylor和orenda fink，两颗年轻的心灵就在15岁的时候碰撞出了音乐的火花，他们原来在一个叫little red rocket的乐队里参与音乐的制作，感觉上充满了朝气和活力，但少的是那份安详和宁静，加入warm records出了一张专辑azure ray之后，他们就把azure ray这么美丽的名字一直用到了现在。她们来自佐治亚现在还不到20岁。”
